Poste Italiane’s CERT was established in 2013, right after the publication of “Cybersecurity Strategy of the European Union”, a project to implement strategies and actions to promote and diffuse the idea and the principles of “cyber-resilience”. Since then it has become a constantly evolving reality for risk prevention and the fight against Cyber Crime.

The British Standards Institution (BSI), has awarded Poste Italiane with the ISO/IEC 27001 certification for the CERT core services:

Since July 3rd, 2013 Poste Italiane’s CERT is among the 8 Italian CERTs registered by the European Agency on Network and Information Security (ENISA).

Poste Italiane’s CERT is registered and accredited in the Trusted Introducer network, a network of European CERTs, whose purpose is to provide support to all security incident response teams.
