We want to point to a phishing attempt that anonymous fraudsters are trying to accomplish these days. Thanks to our monitoring activities and above all to your reporting, we have identified a large number of emails (apparently sent by Poste Italiane) that invite recipients to reactivate an imaginary “Postepay Web Security System”.

URGENT TELEGRAM? NO, IT IS A DECEPTION…

In many, we are reporting the reception of e-mails apparently sent by Poste Italiane notifying the receipt of a “phantom” online telegram: the recipients of the mail are invited to read the contents, but in reality – clicking on the proposed link – you starts an “access procedure” whose sole purpose is to convey confidential information that is later used to make scams.
