What’s happened?

SDA, the express courier company of the Poste Italiane Group, reports to its customers that e-mails have been in circulation for some days, referring to the brands, logos, colors and images.

Emails invite you to click on a malicious link that lets us navigate on an SDA “clone” site.

This is a very similar site to the original one, but it poses a serious threat to your computer: it could infect your PC and thus make all the data stored in it inaccessible and even require payment of a redemption in money.

Sda reminds all customers that the company never requires email, personal information, current account numbers, IDs, or passwords of various kinds. Above all, SDA does not require payment of shipments not actually made via email.

How to behave?

  • Do not link to the site mentioned in the text of the e-mail message and if you have been mistakenly navigated to the “clone” site page, no fear: close the browser window to avoid any problems;
  • Do not click on the “Download” button for any reason because this action activates the download of a dangerous virus on your computer (more precisely it is a Trojan);
  • For no reason enter the credentials for access to the boxes displayed on the video (“Customer Area” box);
  • Report further suspicious emails to the infosda@sda.it mailbox;
  • Do not rely on similar requests.
